Bible Studies

Begin with the questions that matter.

People come to us with all kinds of questions. Why is there so much suffering? Does my life have a purpose? What happens when we die? We don’t have a quick answer for every one of them, but we know where to look.

Below are short answers to eight of the questions people ask most, each from the Bible. Read at your own pace, open your Bible, and ask us anything along the way.

Study 1

Who is God?

The Bible speaks of one God, the Father: a real and personal God who made the heavens and the earth, who is not far from any one of us, and who rewards those who seek Him.

Study 6

What has God promised?

From the garden of Eden to Abraham and King David, God made promises that run through the whole Bible: a descendant who would overcome sin, and a Kingdom that will never end.

Study 7

What is the Holy Spirit?

In Scripture, God’s Spirit is His breath and power: the way He creates, acts and speaks. It is by His Spirit that the Bible itself was given.

Study 8

Why be baptised?

In the Bible, baptism is a personal choice made after believing: full immersion in water, joining a person to the death and resurrection of Jesus, and the start of a new life.

Who we are

What is a Christadelphian?

The word means “brothers and sisters in Christ.” We are a community gathered around the Bible, with no paid clergy, glad to share what we have learned.

  • We meet every Sunday

To remember Jesus with bread and wine, to pray, to sing, and to hear the Word.

  • We read the Bible

Together and at home, letting it explain itself.

  • We share freely

Studies, questions and conversation, at your own pace.
